Rigorous studying and challenging classes call for serious refueling, which isn’t a problem at VCU.
Undergraduate students living in university residence halls (not university apartments) are required to choose a residential dining plan.
VCU Dining Services offers swipe plans that allow a specific number of meals to be used over an entire semester. These unlimited-serving meals are served in the Shafer Court Dining Center.
Dining dollars allow students the opportunity to purchase tax-free meals at any VCU retail restaurant, including Einstein Bros. Bagels, IHOP, Chili’s and Starbucks. Commuter students and students living off campus have the option of purchasing a nonresidential dining plan.
Because of VCU’s convenient location, we are surrounded by a wide array of places to eat. You won’t have to go far to find exquisite fine dining, quaint cafes or hole-in-the-wall dives.
