What’s the best way to learn about VCU’s campus? See for yourself — literally.
Register online to attend one of our daily information sessions for prospective students and their families.
The best way to get to know VCU is to visit us and see our campus for yourself. Information sessions are held in the Welcome Center, located at 1111 W. Broad St., every Monday through Saturday, except on holidays and holiday weekends. The information session is followed by a guided walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus, lasting just over an hour.
Many departments at VCU host program-specific information sessions, many of which include a tour of their facilities. More information about departmental information sessions can be found online at http://www.ugrad.vcu.edu/experience/visit/deptinfosessions.html. Please contact your prospective department to find out more about their options for prospective students.
Plan to attend a VCU Open House.
Students and families unable to attend the daily campus tours and information sessions have the option of visiting VCU on a self-guided tour. Self-guided tour routes and corresponding maps of campus are available in the VCU Welcome Center, located at 1111 W. Broad St.
Prospective graduate students are welcome to join us for one of the undergraduate admissions campus tours. Tours depart from the Welcome Center Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m. as well as Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m., except on holidays and holiday weekends, and appointments are not required to attend. The walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus lasts just over one hour.
Several hotels around VCU offer a discounted rate to guests of the university.
