Responsibilities: Overseeing the daily operations and functions of Office of Admissions, the Transfer Center and SEM Communications, talking with prospective students and their parents about the admissions process, and serving as a liaison between the office and other departments and offices within the university.

What brought you to VCU?

I grew up in Richmond and returned here after going to college in the Midwest. After college my first job was here at VCU on the MCV Campus. I’ve been here ever since.

Ever-changing, intense, challenging

What do you enjoy most about meeting prospective VCU students?

I love to talk with students about the college application process. There is so much excitement around the process, but there is also confusion. I like being able to help make the process less confusing.

What’s one thing you don’t travel without?

A book

What are you reading right now?

I’m taking a class this semester, so I’m reading “Using Multivariate Statistics.” Honestly, I wish I were reading something more fun.

What’s your perfect Sunday afternoon?

Going to the dog park with my husband and our dogs and then returning home to read a good book or watch a movie

Tall cappuccino with skim
