About the Office of Admissions

What brought you to VCU?

One of my first memories of VCU was my brothers’ School of Arts graduation. As a kid, it’s hard for any school to compete with stilts, beach balls and the one of a kind experience of VCU. Plus, I loved the diversity of the student body.

Name three adjectives that describe the Office of Admissions.

Devoted, ever-changing, helpful

What do you enjoy most about meeting prospective VCU students?

I love the excitement prospective students have about VCU. It's easy for me to have Ram pride, but to see how eager students are to learn about VCU is an amazing feeling.

What are three things we’ll find in your suitcase?

Running shoes, back up clothes, as well as, anything pink and green.

What’s one thing you don’t travel without?

Workout gear.

Best part of your job:

The moment I see a prospective student I've worked with or met during a high school visit, attending our accepted student events. Nothing compares to that feeling.

What’s your favorite place on campus?

My favorite part on campus would have to be the University Student Commons. I spent A LOT of time there as an undergrad for meetings, events, and programs. So it has a special place in my heart.
